Enjoy the space, views and comfort of luxury Briar Steading holiday cottage for 4 plus baby. Built in 2010, the cottage was finished in local stone at the front to blend in with B listed thatched Briar Cottage and Little Briar Cottage on the three acre grounds. The beautifully presented interior has modern furnishings with a wood burning stove to add romantic charm. The open plan lounge. kitchen and dining area enables guests to be together whether preparing food or relaxing in front of Sky TV. The south facing views from the lounge are outstanding thanks to the four panel patio windows and doors framing the picture perfect view of Loch Earn, Glen Ample, Stuc A Chroin, Edinample Castle and two garden sculptures that light up at night.
The bedrooms are situated at the east and west gable of the cottage to enable privacy in the evenings. There is a choice of a twin bedroom with an en-suite spacious walk in wet room power shower or a King-size bedroom with an en-suite bath and shower room. Both bathrooms are finished with travertine gloss floor and wall tiles. Each bedroom has a glass patio door leading to the front patio garden and barbecue area. Grab a coffee and head out through your bedroom door without wakening those in the other bedroom. There are no street lights in front. Some guests like to open the curtains after lights to see the moon and stars and to wake up to the loch view in the morning.
The furnishings in Briar Steading are modern. The linear cream Magnet Kitchen is handleless with soft closing doors. The kitchen is well equipped housing a 70/30 fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and other modern appliances. The dining area has an ash table and brown leather dining chairs. The open plan lounge has leather furniture and coffee tables in mixed light and dark rosewood. The lounge area and bedrooms are carpeted throughout with a taupe 100% wool carpet. The Dovre wood burning stove adds character with its feature fireplace and hearth designed using local Glen Ample stone. A 32 inch modern slimline TV is housed on a wall next to the patio doors showing Sky TV + Sky Sports. Both bedrooms also have their own mini flat screen TV’s. The doors from the lounge lead to a riven slabbed patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ. Garden lights are controlled from the house and the garden. There is parking for two cars, one next to the cottage and a second space beside Briar Cottages double garage 20 metres from the house. Automatic lights are triggered when entering the main door.
