📍 Where We Are – At the Heart of the Highlands
Our property lies on the edge of Lochearnhead village, at the centre of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park—Scotland’s first national park and a gateway to the Highlands. The cottages are ideally situated for day trips in all directions, thanks to our location at the A84 and A85 crossroads.
We’re in a unique spot: technically part of rural Stirling, yet just minutes from Perthshire as you travel east along Loch Earn toward St Fillans. Some still use “Perthshire” in the address, and we don’t blame them—it’s the best of both worlds!
Follow the A85 north and you’ll soon find yourself in Glencoe and the Highlands proper.

Regulars will know that Fraser likes a project. We decided to tackle the west gable deck having paved and fenced the east gable patio. This enables a wider turning circle and car parking.
The old wooden deck has gone. A paved area was added surrounded by a coated wire fence and two wooden gates. There is a partial polycarbonate awning above the door for shade and shelter. Patio lights complete the effect.

![]() 🛶 Lochside Leisure & Outdoor Fun A short driveway leads to the cottage from the main gates near the double garage, with parking for two cars. Guests can enjoy free trout fishing from the loch garden (March 15th to October 6th) without a permit. The 250ft private loch garden is a hub of activity and relaxation. Play petanque (bocce ball) or try your hand at 6-flag lawn putting, all with stunning views across Loch Earn. The garden also features a jetty, slipway, and mooring buoys—ideal for launching small boats, paddleboards, or simply soaking up the scenery. Some guests let their dogs swim and fetch balls in the loch, while others enjoy a refreshing dip themselves. In summer, it’s a tranquil spot for paddling or floating. And for the brave (or Ironman trainees!), open water swimming in winter is not unheard of. Please stay close to the shore—the loch is deep and cold, even in summer. 🏅 As Featured On
